Yoshio NishimuraYoshio
Nishimura

A traditional Japanese craftsman.
He has been working in the Kyo-Yuzen dyeing industry after his family first started in 1905. He wanted to share this technique with others and decided to host workshops where people can experience the traditional dyeing technique themselves.
Kyo-Yuzen is one of the well-known dyeing techniques in Japan, because of its use of distinctive and vivid colors. Designs are focused on the seasons, for example certain trees, birds and flowers that only appear in a certain season.
